A DAY IN CHICAGO
4K CinemaScope Timelapse & Hyperlapse Film
Emeric Le Bars, also known as Emeric's Timelapse, is a French professional time lapse photographer. He is currently based in Los Angeles, USA. During two trips to Chicago in September 2018 and June/July 2020, he shot his piece "A Day in Chicago". He has just finished the post-production process, so check out the first video of our outstanding time lapse videos in September 2020:
What makes Emeric's time lapse videos outstanding is the stunning image quality: perfect light, crispy shots and awesome framing. We love it!
WESTERN NORWAY
Shot On An Action Camera
Morten Rustad, who you already know from last month's list, has done it again. "WESTERN NORWAY" is not only part of this list because of its stunning shots. Believe it or not, he shot it entirely on an action cam. When you look at the awesome image quality Morten got out of this little camera, you have to take your hat off to him.
We love this experiment and are thrilled by the outcome. Above all, it's impressive what Morten was able to create by using just a little semi-professional camera!
Hyperlapse through New York
Next on our list of outstanding time lapse videos in September 2020 is travel cinematographer Andras Ra. Andras is based in Germany, but he travels the world. He specialises in travel videos and therefore often uses time lapse and hyperlapse photography. In September, he released a short travel time lapse video about New York on his Instagram which caught our attention:
Andras has his own style of editing which is unique and simply stunning. In this video, he shows off his superb editing skills by creating awesome seamless transitions. Just wow!
Seasons of Denmark
Summer
Last but not least on our list of outstanding time lapse videos in September 2020 is the first video in a new series launched by Casper Rolsted. Casper is a time lapse photographer based in Denmark. In his new project "Seasons of Denmark", he plans to create a time lapse video of each season. The first episode is about summer, which can be quite beautiful. But see for yourself:
We chose this video to be included on this list because of the moody images. In time lapse it is often a challenge to capture the right mood. However, Casper managed to create this beautiful slow pace piece which perfectly brings across the feeling of a moody summer in Denmark.
