We’re excited to announce the TimelapseRobot product update August 2025. This release makes it easier than ever to manage construction timelapses and long-term monitoring projects. Highlights include a redesigned gallery with faster navigation, AI image classification for timelapse projects, and a streamlined setup page for quick and error-free camera configuration.

Gallery Upgrade – Faster Navigation Through Your Archive

The Gallery Tab has been updated with:

• A modernized user interface for smoother navigation

• New filter options to quickly find specific timeframes

• A reworked file list for better overview

These improvements help you browse large archives of construction or project images without losing time.

AI Image Classification Timelapse – Smarter Filtering for Business Users

With this update, Business subscription cameras now benefit from AI image classification timelapse technology. Every captured frame is automatically labeled by our AI:

• Light conditions → daytime, nighttime, twilight, sunrise/sunset

• Visibility conditions → clear skies, fog, or low-visibility will get a lower rating as perfectly fine weather conditions

This feature allows you to filter out unwanted frames before rendering your timelapse or exporting files. Example: automatically exclude all nighttime frames from a construction timelapse to keep only daytime progress shots. The result: cleaner videos and less manual sorting.

New Setup Page – Thematic Navigation and Smarter Controls

The Setup Page has been completely restructured to make configuration clearer and faster. Instead of one long list of options, settings are now grouped into thematic topics, accessible through a small navigation menu on the left. This makes it easier to jump directly to the section you need.

We’ve also added visual tags that show which email addresses have notifications enabled, without the need to open a pop-up. These improvements streamline the workflow and help you configure your project more intuitively.
