Refund & Withdrawal Policy

 
1. Scope

This Refund and Withdrawal Policy applies to purchases made through www.timelapserobot.com, including:

  • Digital services (software subscriptions, cloud services, APIs)

  • Physical products (hardware, accessories, or bundled equipment)

Statutory withdrawal rights apply only to consumers.
Business customers (B2B) are excluded from statutory withdrawal rights.

 
2. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Withdrawal Period

  • Digital services: 14 days from contract conclusion

  • Physical goods: 14 days from the day you or a third party receives the goods

 
3. Withdrawal of Digital Services

Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if:

  • the digital service is provided immediately after purchase, and

  • you expressly agree to the immediate start of performance, and

  • you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service begins

This applies in particular to:

  • immediate access to the TimelapseRobot web application

  • cloud-based image processing, monitoring, or automation

  • API usage or project creation

 
4. Withdrawal of Physical Products

Conditions for Returns

You may return physical products within 14 days of receipt provided that:

  • the product is unused and undamaged

  • the product is returned in its original packaging

  • all accessories, manuals, and components are included

Exclusions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • customized or made-to-order products

  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed

 
5. Return Procedure

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us by email:

contact@timelapserobot.com

Include:

  • your order number

  • the product or service you wish to withdraw from

  • the date of purchase or delivery

We will provide you with return instructions where applicable.

 
6. Return Shipping Costs
  • Consumers bear the direct cost of returning physical goods, unless the return is due to a defect or incorrect delivery.

  • For defective or incorrect items, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

 
7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned goods (or receive your valid withdrawal for digital services), we will issue a refund:

  • within 14 days

  • using the original payment method

For physical products, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received or proof of return has been provided.

 
8. No Refund After Use
  • No refunds for digital services that have already been used and where the right of withdrawal has expired.

  • Physical products showing signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning may be subject to value reduction or refusal.

 
9. Voluntary Goodwill Policy

In exceptional cases (e.g. technical incompatibility or hardware defects), we may offer refunds or replacements on a voluntary goodwill basis. This does not affect your statutory rights.
