1. Set Up Your Capture Device (Smartphone to Capture Timelapse)

1. Download the TimelapseRobot App: Install the Android app "TimelapseRobot" from the Google Play Store on your capture device. This is the smartphone that you will leave at the location of your subject to capture the timelapse.

   • Install and open the app.

2. Initial Setup:

   • Click the Okay button to proceed to the screen where you will be asked to enter your code.

2. Generate Code and Connect Capture Device to Your Account

1. Log into TimelapseRobot: Using a separate device (such as a laptop, tablet, or another smartphone), go to my.timelapserobot.com. This device will be used to generate the connection code and remotely control the capture device.

2. Create a New Project: Alternatively, navigate to an existing project and click Add Camera.

   

3. Select Smartphone: Set a camera name for your smartphone.

4. Choose Your Subscription Plan.

5. Enter Connection Code:

   • On the TimelapseRobot website, you will see an 8-digit code. Enter this code into the TimelapseRobot app on your capture device.

   • Click the Connect button in the app.

     

     

     

     

6. Wait for Confirmation:

   • Once you click Connect, the screen on the website where you got the code will automatically reload after a few moments.

   • You will then enter the setup wizard that will guide you through setting up the desired interval for your timelapse.
